I took a quiet retail job. The manager was fired from the last company I worked as a manager for but didn’t know me. I soon figured out why he was fired.

Manager yelling out in the halls: Gunshots in the mall!

Me: Did he really do that?

Assistant manager: He does it all the time.

Me: And what’s with the 2 phones he’s texting on all the time?

Assistant: He uses to pretend he’s a woman and catfishes.

After I left I was called and asked to be the new manager. The old one was let go for taking defunked merch and trying to return it to our sister stores for cash.
