Unfiltered Story #57047

Unfiltered | December 27, 2016

One night I’m working at a busy fast food place. We realize in horror during a mad rush that we are going to run out of paper bags.

Coworker: Ok, I’m going to call the GM. Maybe he hid some bags somewhere in the store.

Hiding supplies isn’t uncommon in the store for various reasons, so I’m hoping it’s for the best. I’m still manning the register when my coworker comes over, looking beyond irritated.

Me: What did he say?

Coworker: He just asked why we ran out of bags.

Me: What?! What does he think we did with them? What kind of question is that? And why does that matter?! I could have eaten all of them. We still need bags!

Coworker:Yeah, he just hung up after that.

We ended up going over to another fast food place to beg them for bags. Thanks a lot gm for your help.
