(We have a new intern, who is talking over some of the stuff she needs for her schooling traject.)
Intern: ‘Let’s see, I need to have this part finished at the 28th. It’s now the 14th, so let’s see… Ehm… Does anyone know how many days that will be?’
Me: ‘Up until the 28th? From today you mean?’
Intern: ‘Yes.’
Me: ‘From the 14th?’
Intern: ‘Yes.’
Me: ’14.’
Intern: ‘Are you serious?’
(In the end, she did her internship quite okay.)
