(I go to a clothing store on my lunch break to replace a pair of slacks I’ve worn to threads.)
Cashier: “Thank you for shopping with us. Would you like to add your email to this purchase to receive emails? They have coupons to use for future purchases.”
Me: “No, thank you. I already have [store] card, so I get them.”
Cashier: “I don’t even know what that is.”
Me: “[Store] card?”
Cashier: “Yes.”
Me: “The credit card to this store?”
Cashier: *blank look* “So, would you like to add your email to get coupons sent to you?”
Me: “…No.”
