(My boyfriend and I decide to eat at a diner for our 3 year anniversary, it was about 10pm on a Saturday)
*waitress is taking our order*
My boyfriend: “can I get some bacon on the side of that?”
Waitress: “sure would you like a short stack?”
(There was just silence for 30 seconds while we all shared confused looks)
Me: “..he said bacon”
Waitress: “OH! I’m sorry it’s been such a long day”
*my boyfriend and I laughing*
