Coworker #1: “I find this very suspect, but I have found studies that claim to correlate genetics with being liberal vs conservative.”

Coworker #2: “Are you sure they’re not melanin genes? Because I bet if you looked at melanin genes, you would find a strong correlation with being liberal. In fact, on a chromosomal level, you might say there is even a strong correlation there. For example, Y chromosome genes with low melanin expression, I bet, are very strongly correlated with certain political beliefs.”
