Unfiltered Story #56744

(I’m in charge of opening the store on Saturdays, which means I take home the key Friday night. One night it’s 10:30 PM and I suddenly remember that I’ve forgotten the key. I drive back to pick it up… but since I’ve already “let go” for the night, I look like a “People of Walmart” contender — I’m in my pajamas, hair a mess, and wearing the first pair of shoes I could find, which happen to be a pair of beat-up Birkenstocks. The night crew is just cleaning up when they see me pounding on the door. One of them opens the door and gives me a shocked look.)

Co-worker: “[Name]! I didn’t recognize you at first… you’re not wearing a hat!”
