(I woke up one morning with an intense pain in my right arm, and wore a sling for the rest of the day. My dad had been out fishing with some friends, and my mom and I met them at the warehouse to help pack the fish to freeze them. We have a manual transmission car – a stick shift.)

Friend: *to my mom* Can you move your car? You’re parked in front of my truck, and I need to tow the boat out to clean it.

(My mom looks at me because her hands are covered in fish slime.)

Me: Sure, I can do it…I’ll just shift using the force.

(Yeah, I had to move the car.)
