Unfiltered Story #48059

WI, USA | Unfiltered | April 11, 2017

(My mom is talking about some bags my aunt made out of old clothing and was going to sell in a shop. Apparently, they were horribly ugly. After she had them put on display, they all disappeared, and the shop owner said they were stolen. However, my mom is convinced she threw them away and lied about it.)

Mom: “I’m tempted to just go back to that shop and tell her I know they weren’t stolen.”

Me: “When was this?”

Mom: “Recently.”

Me: “Then why don’t you?”

Mom: “I’m afraid!”

Me: “That they actually were?”

Mom: *Very upset* “Yes! The world shouldn’t turn that way!”
