One chilly morning, I was chatting with my 10 year old daughter.

Daughter: Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a bed that warmed up like a heater seat?

Me: Well, there are electric blankets that heat up when you plug them in, and you could lay one out on the bottom of your bed so that it’s warm when you got in. Or, you could lay one on top so that it’s warm on top of you.

Daughter: I don’t know which one I would choose. Oh! I would do both!

Me: You would be a toasty little [daughter] and we would have barbecued ribs by the morning.

Daughter: But you’d have to make your own sauce, because I wouldn’t be there to help.
