(My little sister and I are headed to go see a movie, showing at 7pm. She’s been staying at our mom’s house while on summer break from college, and is already on thin ice for forgetting some of the house rules.)
Sister: Oh god.
Me: What?
Sister: I just suddenly realized, we’re probably not getting home until after 9. MY CURFEW IS AT NINE!
Me: Considering Mom was there when we were talking about going to a movie, and she thought it was a good idea, I think it’ll be okay if you’re out a little later.
Sister: *sigh of relief* Ugh, I thought I was gonna die for just a second there.
