Unfiltered Story #48016

(I was a teen, driving with my parents to one of my dad’s soccer games. My dad is driving, and he loves to pick and scratch at his head all the time.)

Dad: *scratching his head* “Ow!”

Mom: “What is it?”

Dad: “I think I scratched too hard, can you see?”

(He turns his head and Mom peers at it.)

Mom: “Oh yeah, you have a hole back there.”

Dad: “Is it big?”

Mom: “Yes, really big. You ought to stop scratching.”

(He listens for a while, then goes right back to scratching. I stayed quiet, pretending I didn’t notice. Next morning, he woke up with a big, bloody, oily stain on his pillow and still scratches! Poor Mom had to clean it!)
