(My mom, brother and I were talking about ghosts one night.)

Brother: “Hey, wanna see something cool?”

(He turns off all the lights and puts a video from the web playing scary music plays)

Me: “I’ve already seen this one, a ghost pops out at you and screams, right?”

Brother: *vague* “Maaaybe.”

Mom: “Hey, I don’t like scary ghosts!”

Me: “[Brother] turn it off. I don’t like em either.”

Brother: “Nah, see ya!” *runs away*

Me: “Why you!” *chases him* “Get back here and turn it off!”

Mom: “HEY! are you going to leave me alone with a ghost?! Hey! Hey! Aaah! Aieeeeee!”

(My brother managed to come back to stop the video before the ghost popped up. Mom stopped screaming in terror. Why she didn’t just run away I don’t know.)
