(I have just gotten home and hear my father and stepmother talking on the back patio. I poke my head out.)
Me: Hi, I’m home.
Dad: What’s up?
Me: (my dad is hard of hearing, so I assume he didn’t catch that last bit) I’m home.
Dad: Why?
Me: Because I live here?
Dad: (laughs) That’s a good reason!
