(Our family calls my dad ‘Goof’ or ‘Goofy’ because of his goofy jokes. One day we go to Disneyland for the first time.)
Me: “So Dad…do you think that we’ll see ‘you’ here?”
(My dad smiles absently, not getting it. My siblings snicker.)
Sibling: “Dad is Goofy! Goofy dad!”
(Just then a costumed Goofy shows up. My dad finally gets it.)
Dad: “Very funny.”
Me: “After all your Goofy jokes, now it’s our turn!”
Costumed Goofy: *points at my dad and laughs*
