Unfiltered Story #47933
(I’m Korean and my family is obviously white. I was adopted as an infant and my family has never though much of it. My brother is 20 and I’m just shy of 18 and we’re mistaken for a couple as we’re close, but not even couple-like close. Note, I’m probably about 14 and my brother is about 17 at this time.)
Youth pastor: So who are you guys?
Brother: I’m (his name), a friend of (friend’s name). This is (my name).
Youth pastor: So are you guys “buddies”?
Me: *refrains from face palming myself* We’re siblings.
Youth pastor: Oh, so you’re really good buddies then!
(I didn’t attend that youth group for very long.)
