(I live with my mom. Her sister is visiting. Both are hard of hearing. I start off on an errand, but can’t back out without a strong risk of scraping the visitors’ car. I go back inside.)
Me, loudly: “I can’t get the car out.”
Mom: “Okay, bye!”
(Fortunately, auntie’s husband understood me.)
