Unfiltered Story #47884

(Today I receive a package with the address handwritten on it. The handwriting looks exactly like that of my grandmother, who died in 2008.)

Me: “OK, now this is spooky.”

Mom: “What?”

(I show her the package.)

Me: “Doesn’t that look like [grandma’s] handwriting?”

Mom: “That’s what I thought, too! I didn’t say anything about it because I wanted to see if you’d think so, too.”

Me: “Yeah. I distinctly remember what her handwriting looked like.”

Mom: “At first I thought, ‘Communication from beyond the grave!’ But then I realized that couldn’t be, because the letter didn’t smell like brimstone.”
