(My sister, brother, and parents all live in the same house. I live far away but am there for a visit.)
Sister: “So…[my name] what’s up?”
Me: *on my computer* “Nothing much new…”
Sister: “It’s so rude to be on your computer while talking to someone! You’re supposed to shut it off and talk about life with your family!”
Me: “Oh sorry.” *turns of computer* “Wait a minute, you know, you are always on your phone while we’re eating.”
Sister: “That’s different! I’m expecting important calls!”
Me: “Soooo…what do you want to talk about?”
Sister: “Nothing.” *gets up and walks off*
Me: “…”
