I’m at my cousin’s house eating dinner. I’m ten years old. Note that I didn’t know what the word ignorant meant, I just thought it sounded cool. We’re talking about a fort that my cousin made when he was young.
“I used to play in that thing all the time” My cousin said.
“Yeah,” I replied. “Before you became an ignorant teenager.”
Everybody stares at me.
“That’s an incredibly rude thing to say!” Says my aunt.
“Well, you’re an ignorant little ten-year old.” Says my cousin.
That situation really embarrassed me.
