(My mother and I are making a cake. She puts baking soda in a bowl and adds vinegar, which starts to foam up. She instructs me to mix it together.)
Me: Hey Mom. Acid and a base. ( points to the bowl)
Mom: This is not chemistry class.
Me: Weird science! *pause* Ok, I just had to do that.
