(I’m nursing my three month old son. He seems to be going through a growth spurt, as he’s needed to eat more frequently. He’s eaten on one side for a good amount of time, and I’m switching him to the other side.)
Husband: Didn’t he just eat?
Me: Yeah, on one side. He usually eats on both sides, or he gets hungry sooner.
Husband: Little fatty!
(My son’s been gaining weight really well, because he’s been eating well, but I don’t think my husband realized how long it can take to feed a newborn.)
