When my friend and I are 14 we attend a conference in the large city ~1 hour away from the suburb where we live. My mom is picking us up around 11pm and we become lost- Mom’s becoming tired and very agitated.
Mom: Where the h*** are we??
Me: Don’t worry mom, we’ve gotta get home eventually.
Mom: YOU NEVER KNOW, WE MAY NOT.
