Our store has a deal with our local food bank. We’ve never sold food in the past and never will. When we recieve food donations, we keep it to give to the food bank. Likewise, when they recieve non food donations they give it to us. One day when the delivery man came to give us the mountain of clothes that had been given to them, we started talking about the people that couldn’t read instructions or follow directions.
-It is as though they do not think things through. Or perhaps they do not think at all.- The driver said.
We’d just talked about all the junk people would give to our respective organisations. Broken furniture, dirty laundry, rotted food, small appliances covered in dried substances and the likes.
-I know, right?- I replied. -They have a brain but don’t use it… Or perhaps we only know they have a brain because they are breathing.-
We both started laughing because we both had encountered stupid customers before.
