Unfiltered Story #418764

It’s many years later but the now very elderly husband’s-aunt-who-is-a-nun from this story (https://notalwaysright.com/the-devil-has-a-spelling-on-you/51735/) is finally visiting us. (Daughter is now fifteen.)

We are working from home while she visits, and on the first morning she is in the shower for a while at peak time before 9, so I can’t have a shower although I need to log on soon.

I tell myself she’s old, doesn’t really understand the world of work, and to be fair we didn’t ask her to keep the bathroom free. All these thoughts buzz around for a while …

Until I remember we have an entire other bathroom and shower that I can use. It’s usually just used by one kid and doesn’t have my stuff in it, but I can grab a spare towel.

I guess it’s not only elderly nuns that are stuck in their habits.
