Unfiltered Story #418763

This isn’t a story that’s very funny, but it happened a few days ago, and I felt the need to get it off my chest. My manager is not a nice person at all

I am a very short teenage girl, and i frequently get made fun of for my height. Where i currently work, we have these huge mirrors on our wall above the shake counter. These things get disgusting because they are constantly be splattered with ice cream. We usually have a tall employee clean them, but one of my managers asks me to clean them. I said I was too short but she just shook her head and said get the ladder. So I did, and I still couldn’t reach. So I just kneeled on the counter. Now the manager’s son walks behind me, stops grins like a fool and starts shaking his head. I don’t think he realized I could see him (i was literally cleaning a mirror). His mom (the manager) walks past him, and he stops her and starts speaking in Spanish (which i dont understand) while looking at me. The both break out laughing and I turn around and said don’t make fun of me because I’m short. And she just laughed and said it’s ok if you need to jump sometimes. I ended up crying in the bathroom. This manager is not a nice person to me, and this was just the most recent time she has made fun of me, or asked me to do a job that I am not really physically able to do.
