(My company decided to have a cartoon mascot. I loathe the design. First, it is not dressed appropriately for the job we do, and second, it’s such a blatant ripoff from the most famous worker of all, we’re in serious danger of getting sued. The person who picked the design always denied both things.
I’m visiting my folks and I’m on my phone, reading a company communique sporting the mascot. My father, who’s pushing 90s and has never even switched on a computer, passes by and says…)
