Unfiltered Story #411995

This story (https://notalwaysright.com/he-went-through-those-with-a-fine-tooth-comb/358006/) reminds of an incident I witnessed about 25 years ago.

One weekend I was in the supermarket with my mum, and she sent me back a couple of aisles to grab something she’d forgotten.
I entered the top of the aisle, and as I got a few feet down I noticed half a set of false teeth lying on the floor. Being about 16, and kinda squeamish, I simply stepped around them and carried on my way – I wasn’t about to pick them up when I could just avoid them and let someone else deal with them!

I found the thing mum wanted and turned round to leave the aisle from the same way I entered.
Just in time to see an old man enter the aisle.
He spotted the teeth on the floor, and, with more deft than one would expect from a gentleman of his age, he swooped to pick them up.

And, without even a wipe off, popped them straight back into his mouth.
