Unfiltered Story #411994

I’ve been getting a lot of marketing calls from people who say they are from my bank. I tend to believe it as they have my name (which is rare in the country). As I have my own business where people can call me out of the blue, I answer unknown numbers in case it is a new client.

One day I get one of these calls and I answer cautiously, the person introduces themself as being from the bank. Before they can say anything else I angrily tell them to take my name off their list I don’t want anything, and I have repeated this 1000 times.

I hang up and look up to see my husband giving me a terrified look as I very rarely get angry (especially out of the blue like that from his perspective).

I smile and give him a quick explanation:
If I am polite, they try again the next day, if I am angry, I at least get another week before they try again with a new number.

He shrugs and says “alright” and gets back to work.
