Unfiltered Story #392906

Back in the days of video rentals, my mom and I are in a video store looking at movies to rent. I’m in middle school and haven’t seen all that many movies, so most non-kid movies are unfamiliar.

I’m looking at a Monty Python movie that I haven’t heard of. My mom comes to look.

Mom: oh how embarrassing, they misspelled the title on the cover.
Me: huh?
Mom: they reversed the I and A. It should be Life of Brain.

It took me years to realize it IS actually called Life of Brian. Because the main character is called Brian. I have no idea what my mom was thinking.
