Unfiltered Story #386157

I had just moved into my new house and had been having trouble getting decent cell service with my old cell phone, and since i moved my old number kept on showing up as someone elses name, ( i had bought this phone brand new from the company so I had no idea why this kept on happening ), same number but different name. I asked them to change it and the company did. Well I kept on getting these phone calls asking for a tire/ oil change place from this couple ( first the man then the woman would repeatedly call me). I repeatedly told them that this was a private number and they said “don’t you lie to me! we have been customers of you for years! I am going to report you to your boss!” I thought, ok…
i do not know the boss and never met the guy. I tryed the hanging up / ignoring the call. turns out that the phone company by misteke had gave me the number to the tire place! I finally got a new phone and let that old one expire ( pay as you go).
Been sweet peace at the “dog farm” ( my standard greeting for numbers that i do not recognize) ever since!
