Unfiltered Story #372164

(At my school we have our pep rallies in the afternoon, so those who are in band have to leave class early to get ready. I’m in the front ensemble, but are not needed in the rally. The front ensemble leave early anyway and hide in the band hall so that they wont go. When all is quiet we get out of our hiding spots and do whatever. One of the members gets a phone call and we all get worried that were going to get caught.)
Band Mate 1: “Hello.”
(We all look at each other worried its our director. [Band Mate 1] suddenly gets a mischievous look on his face. Just so you know he is straight.)
Band Mate 1: *In flamboyant voice*”Oh my god. You wont believe this but my house just got robbed.Yes ma’am I would like to know about you security system. It’s just me and my lover are so scared right now.”
(At this point we were confused to silently laughing to each other. Band Mate 1 suddenly grabs Band Mate 2.)
Band Mate 1: “Sweet heart, come hear this. She’s selling security systems.”
*gives the phone to Band mate 2*
Band Mate 2: “Thank god. We just got robbed yesterday and we’re staying at my parents for the mean time. They stole our TV, couch, money, and our dog.”
(This goes on for a few minutes of them pretending to consider buying.)
Band Mate 2: “Thank you we’ll consider buying the system. Bye.”
(When he hangs up we all start laughing.)
Me: “Did that really happen?”
Band Mate 1: “Yeah, What did you think would happen if they call a 16 year old who can’t buy anything?”
