(It’s Christmas dinner, which my family always serves buffet style and we’re all sitting at the table with our plates waiting on my step-dad to get his)
Step-Dad: Did none of you all get any gravy?
Mom: Oh! I didn’t see it.
Brother: There’s gravy?
Me: I guess you could say…. we’ve made a GRAVE mistake.
Brother: *groans* You can’t eat with us, go to your room.
