I teach Grade 3 and occasionally their remarks stun me or leave me helpless on how to reply. One kid who is kinda hyper in class, comes by my desk and stares at my face.
Him: Teacher, what is that black mark on your face?
Me: Oh, it’s a beauty spot.
Him: *excitedly and happily* Oh, (another kid’s name) also has beauty spots. She has them on her teeth!
Me: *trying not to laugh* ohhh….. (Didn’t bother telling him it was rotten teeth)

School Teaching has its pros for sure!
