(My girlfriend is a trans woman. This is a conversation we had after the first time we had sex.)

Girlfriend: “You’re looking thoughtful. Is everything okay?”

Me: “I’ve just been thinking about something my cousin said to me, when I first told her that I was a lesbian.”

Girlfriend: “Oh? What’s that?”

Me: “She said, ‘You just need a good d***ing down, that’ll get you over it.'”

Girlfriend: “Oh. So…?”

Me: “Yeah, I’m guessing that this wasn’t what she had in mind.”

(Yeah, still gay, and very much in love with my girlfriend.)
