Unfiltered Story #366267
My school has several small potted trees scattered around the cafeteria. My friend and I were eating lunch close to one of the trees. As we were eating, I noticed that there was a group of teens picking leaves off of the tree to determine if they were plastic or not.
Me: Hey look, they’re pulling leaves off of the tree.
Friend: (still looking at phone) What?
Me: Look, some kids are pulling leaves from the tree. They’re not plastic! Look! (by this time, the teens had already left the tree)
Friend: Where? I don’t see them
Me: (points at the tree which is only a few feet from us) that one!
Friend: I can’t see it!
Me: It’s right there!
Friend: Where?!
Me: THERE!
Friend: I CAN’T SEE IT, THERE’S A TREE IN FRONT OF IT!
She realized what she said instantly and hid her head in her arms in embarisment.
