In my last year of high school, all of the graduating students were put into a room for a lecture on what would be on our provincial exams. Near the middle, one of the teachers got everyone’s attention, grabbed some scissors, cut off a piece of his hair and ATE IT. He then proceeded to explain the answer to a question and continued to remind us that it would be on the test, and now we had to remember because he ate his hair for it.

A couple weeks later before we started the test, everyone talked about the hair eating and was ready to get that question right.

It wasn’t on the test. The teacher was so upset when a student told him afterwards.

Years later, we all remember the hair-eating moment, but have no recollection of what the question or the answer was anymore.
