Unfiltered Story #365773
(My older brother and his son come over to visit, by chance when my retirement-age father is over. We sit on the couch for a while to chat until my Dad’s bad joints start getting to him. He gets up and lurches around the living room until his joints warm up.)
Dad: Sorry, if I sit still too long, they seize up and I become a permanent fixture.
Brother: It’s because you’re old!
Me: (to Brother) Hey, who’s turning 40 this year?
(Hint, it’s my brother.)
Brother: (quickly, to his son, as he jumps off the couch) Come on, kid, we gotta go!
