Unfiltered Story #365191

A young boy, about seven or eight, is being an absolute drama queen over not being able to have anything for free. It’s obvious he is not actually upset or trying to cause trouble, just an energetic child killing time, and because the store is otherwise empty I let him stomp around freely. He eventually leaves, still being noisy, heading in one direction as a woman approaches the store from the other.

Boy: *waving his arms around theatrically* “I don’t get it! I don’t get it!”
Woman: “That’s because you’re an ignorant little BLACK child!”

Thankfully she didn’t come into the store, but I hope he didn’t hear her…
