My mom will often randomly say in a sappy voice to us (her kids) “I wuv you”. This happens once on a hot day where we really have no energy.

Mom: I wuv you!
Me: *deadpan* I love you, too.
Kid brother, who is half asleep and sprawled out on the couch: *raises his arm with his hand in a thumbs up*
Mom and myself: *cracks up laughing*
