Unfiltered Story #364522

Two years ago myself and a group of friends were all out for a meal. One friend decides to pipe up in the middle of a discussion.

Friend: I don’t want to be human anymore.

Other Friend: *joking and laughing* There isn’t much you can do about that.

Friend: *completely serious and glaring at all of us* There is ALWAYS something you can do.

This ruined the atmosphere of the night, and we all went home after the end of the meal.

For the next two years, this friend completely disconnected from us. None of us physically saw her in that time, which is hard given the small town we live in. We eventually assumed she must have moved away.

Last week, we all got together for a birthday, and surprise surprise, friend turned up, unannounced and uninvited. She acted completely normal, as though those two years hadn’t happened. She refused to answer any questions until the end of the night, where she explained to us what had happened.

It turns out she had a grudge against us because we didn’t notice her septum piercing when we all went out. When we said we didn’t even know she had one…

Friend: I had it flipped up.
