Unfiltered Story #364519
(My family is at a sushi restaurant, and my brother decides he wants sashimi.)
Me: “Are you sure? That’s just slices of raw fish.”
Brother: “Oh no, there’ll be rice and stuff too.”
Me: “Um… no. Sashimi isn’t sushi. It’s literally just slices of fish.”
Brother: “No, it’ll have rice and stuff! I know what I’m doing!”
(I shrug and let him order his sashimi. When the waitress delivers our meals, she sets in front of him a plate that, sure enough, contained absolutely nothing but slices of fish. He finally conceded that I was right, and ordered a bowl of rice to go with it.)
