Unfiltered Story #364270
I manage the fleet for my company.
One of our team leaders got promoted, so his gang was restructured. I get a call from the admin in that department asking if I can remake the vehicle information pack for him, as it was in the old team lead’s name. Standard stuff.
When I get this call, I’m currently trying to sort out the many breakdowns and booking services for our vehicles while catching up from the previous week as I was on leave. My co-worker called in sick, so I’m doing her job as well as playing catch-up. My phone is going mental, and I haven’t taken a lunch break all week. So when the admin approaches my desk with the old vehicle information pack, I take one look at it and facepalm.
The vehicle’s registration is printed on the front. Stuck next to it is a post-it with the old team lead’s name. All the admin had to do was peel it off and replace with a new post-it.
I gave her the dirtiest look that said, “Are you f****** kidding me?” and just turned away.
