(My younger (but not youngest) sister was messaging me on Skype, sending me random things. This conversation occurred:)
Sister: Do you come from Cuba bc I would like a Cuba you
Me: ….uh. that sounds like something a serial killer would say. please do not cut a cube out of me.
(Later, we’re watching The Bachelor and talking about pick-up lines. I start, making a joke about one of the contestants in the show, names Elora:)
Me: Is your name Elora? Because I find you Elor-ing (alluring)!
Youngest sister: Is your name Wifi? Because I feel a connection!
Sister: (shouting) DO YOU COME FROM CUBA?! BECAUSE I WOULD LIKE A CUBA YOU!
(We all burst out laughing!)
