(My brother and I have just taken a walk with my mom. Not even one minute after we have returned to the apartment, she opens the window wide.)

Mum: “Well, I’m an outdoorsy person. I like openings that are open.” (She pauses, while my brother and I crack up.) “Gosh, what did I just say? Don’t tell anyone!”
