My favorite podcast has a running gag where somebody says “You know the worst thing about being stuck in a time loop?” It is then repeated by everybody else ion the show until they get tired of it.

I decided to try it at work. I was at the make-line where the pizzas is prepared. It has refrigerated cabinets below. I decided to try the gag on them, but I added a physical component.

I had a small container in my hand. As I knelt down to put it in the cabinet, I said “You know the worst thing about being stuck in a time loop?” One of my co-workers replied “No, what?”

I stood up with the container in my hand. I then knelt down and put it away again, repeating the line. My co-worker again said “No, what?” I stood up, still holding the container.

I said the line a third time. I could see comprehension dawning, and they both laughed.
