Unfiltered Story #362307
It’s 1996 and I’m working at a leather manufacturer. I’m a lab technician testing samples of leather for expensive car manufacturers such as Rolls Royce and Ferrari. I was actually the person who tested the leather they used to make the pugil sticks on Gladiators.
A colleague and I are working in the lab at this leather company, both busy preparing test samples of leather. As we work we are chatting about food and cooking and what we like. We’d been discussing how the skin was the best bit of chicken and I had said how much I liked the skin on roast lamb.
Colleague: (Looks up from the sample of leather he is chopping up to test) I wonder why you never get the skin on beef?
