Unfiltered Story #361888
A group in our department usually has a lunch meeting and orders pizza for delivery. There has never been a problem until this day. The pizza was to be delivered at 11:10. At 11:30, there was no pizza, so we called the pizza place. They said the delivery man had come, found no one in the lobby, and went back to the restaurant. They would send him again in 20 minutes; we told them to come to an office. After another 30, still no pizza. We called again and was told that he had come again, and again, finding no one in the lobby, left. This time, we waited in the lobby for him. He arrived one hour after the original delivery time and explained that he tried to call, but could not reach anyone. We were left wondering, why did he not try to find someone? There were people all over the building. That would have taken two minutes and saved three trips.
