Unfiltered Story #361677
I had moved into a house with wooden floors, my upright vacuum would just scatter any dirt and dust with it’s rotating brush so I just relied on sweeping. My sister’s vacuum had died so I let her use my one until she could afford a new vac. My one needed bags, I taken the old one out and replaced with the last new one I had before she took it. I told her that she will need to buy the bags in future. A few months later.
Sister “Your vacuum’s not working properly”
Me *checking the vacuum “The bags completely filled, you need to replace it”
Sister “So where are the bags?”
Me “You need to buy them”
Sister “But it’s your vacuum, you need to buy them”
Me “And you are using it, I’m not buying them”
Nothing more is said, she puts the vacuum behind her front door. It’s over a year later and as I am leaving I notice that the vacuum is covered in a thick layer of dust.
Me “Did you ever get bags for this?”
Sister “No, I wasn’t going to pay for them”
Me “Fine, seeing as you are not using it, I’m going to take it with me” *I now had rugs and knew that my sister had ruined Mum’s vacuum by sucking up cat faeces, I didn’t want someone to do the same with this.
Sister’s new d*ckhead of a boyfriend comes at me with his fists clenched and looming over me in a threatening manner.
D*ckhead “WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO THINK THAT YOU CAN JUST TAKE SOMETHING WITHOUT ASKING FIRST?”
Me “The fact that it’s MINE” *picks up vacuum, stares him down until he moves sheepishly out of the way and leaves.
