This school also required students in 6th grade and up to purchase laptops through them as a third party to continue learning, so I had brought mine with me
me: excuse me, may I print something out here?
secretary: Sure, we have a wireless printer so go ahead.
me: Thank you very much, what’s it called?
secretary: *laughs* What do you mean called? Do you name them? I never knew people named their printers! Do you name all of your electronics?
me: um…
The secretary then grabbed one of her colleagues and they had a quick but very enthusiastic laugh about how funny it was that I “gave names” to printers. Eventually they told me it was the non-color printer I was allowed to use
